The everlasting cold months of Winter can sure take a toll on your hair. What with the wind, sleet, snow and indoor heating, it’s basically a recipe for hair sadness. There are a million and one brands that claim to have the cure to such dry and sensitive issues, but not all hair care is created equal. Many are filled to the brim of harmful ingredients that could actually make your #hairproblems worse, so who should you trust? Let’s start with cruelty free advocate, Paul Mitchell Haircare.

This month, I was given the opportunity to join Salon Success‘s Styling Society and was super happy in seeing all the cruelty free brands they cover. Every second month I’ll be recieving a new box and testing out some products which I will cover with my girl Honey Pop over on our vlog as well as right here. Each box will be designed for my requirements so excited to see what every second month will bring, especially since this month they got it spot on with one of my personal hair faves, Paul Mitchell.

Paul Mitchell have been free from animal testing since it was founded over 36 years ago, but this year they took their love for all things furry to another level with their newly revamped packaging. Not only are they bringing their love of animals to the front of their carrier bags, but they are also giving a percentage of sales to Cruelty Free International to help unnesessery animal suffering. It’s great to see that they are not only supporting the cause with their products, but also helping other brands change their attatudes on how they test theirs.

My first Styling Society box came beautifully packaged with a fabulous selection of products including The Original Conditioner, a Strength and Clarifying duo as well as the Smoothing duo. It’s not the first time I’ve used Paul Mitchell, I’m a huge fan of their Colour Care and Strengthening Sprays which have already made their way into my weekly haircare routine. Since there are no uglies whithin any of the products, they work really well together. I’m a particular fan of the leave in conditioner, if your ends are dry and sad, you needn’t look further! It’s a firm favourite with Honey Pop too, check us blether about our first bi monthly box below.

So free your mane from the unnaturals and go with something that not only loves your hair, but also our environment too. Have you ever tried Paul Mitchell?

  1. I like the sound of the colour care range, I’m experimenting with more colour care products at the moment, so I’ll have to add it to my list!
