So the St. Enoch Centre is celebrating its 25th anniversary this month and to celebrate they asked me to find the perfect party outfit for £75.  I love a challenge and to make this one a little tougher not only was I working within budget, but also against the clock. It was the  Obscure Couture Fashion in Flames show for Action for Children on Saturday night and I had a lunchtime to figure out to wear, it was ready, steady, SHOP!

I am down the St Enoch Centre end-of-town quite often during the week, but it is strange that i rarely shop the full centre. It was really good to see exactly what they had to offer which if I am honest is more than i expected! I wanted to stay away from shops that I would normally browse through (hiya H&M and Dorothy Perkins) so I thought I would give an old Tween favourite of mine another go – Quiz. I was actually really proud of Quiz and the sea of florals they had around the store, sure some of it was way too short for my legs to bare but then i came across this jumpsuit and completely fell in love. After a quick nip to the changing room I knew there was no point in trying anything else on, it had to be mine. The fabric was unbelievably comfy and came complete with a metallic gold belt, I could see the outfit coming together quite nicely!

St Enoch Centre has some amazing shoe shops great for fast fashion, I have recommended Garage Shoes before but the jumpsuit gave me something more specific in mind. I popped into Miss Diva and found a lovely pair of grey courts with a gold tipped toe, they looked expensive and would match most outfits but unfortunately Miss Diva only accepts cash so didn’t fit in my St Enoch’s Card challenge, so it was off to see what Debenhams had on offer. I couldn’t believe my luck when I saw the mini sale happening in the shoe department, before you know it I found the ‘ment to be shoe’ 60% off in Carvela. They were EXACTLY what I had in mind and more; gold, strappy, stiletto heel and with a bad ass buckle to boot. Honey, I found my outfit!

I had a few pounds left so made my last stop to old favourite H&M to pick up a long gold chain to keep in with the gold accents. I cannot get over how much I adore this jumpsuit. It is ridiculously comfy and I was getting compliments everywhere I turned. People couldn’t believe it was from Quiz and frankly, neither could I! I don’t think this will be the last time I shop there, it may even turn out to be the perfect High St shopping weapon!
