Easter Bonnet.

It’s Easter Monday, I’m sitting on my stoop with the laptop on my knee, sun on my legs and a fresh pot of coffee by my side. I am now officially feeling springy! I love Scotland in Spring, people get confused and think that its summer, although everyone knows the golden rule there is no ‘taps aff’ till 20 (degrees). When I was young there was another golden rule, at Easter, we made bonnets and I thought it was high time I wore mine for the occasion!

It was my purchase from the Topshop Buchanan Street store relaunch (FYI – both stores have reopened) and I still hadn’t given it a spin yet so Easter Sunday Roast at Maw’s was the perfect début.

As you can see, Maw knocked it out of the park with her Jaimie Oliver lamb, she sure knows how to put on a good spread! I love my Mum’s flat on a sunny day, it is pretty much the best place to be. We’re not a religious family, but we love any excuse for a good old get together over yummy food and many, many laughs.

I’m beginning to really fall for dropped waist dresses. This was a bargain from H&M a while ago for like £12.99! It is perfect for this kind

of occasion and comfortable to eat in as well! I’ve also hardly had my Juju’s off my feet since getting them a few weeks back! I am a sucker for plastic footwear since the Melissa collab for Vivienne Westwood and these white clumpy jelly’s look adorable with almost anything. Is it wrong my orange obsession is getting worse and I kinda want these in my life?

I cannot be blamed for any orange purchases. The colour is simply too good to not be consumed in all ways! What did you get up to for Easter and can you help me move on from my orange obsession??!
