This year has gone by in a complete whirlwind. I feel like after starting the new job I neglected posting like i did my 3rd husband. But now all i can say is Betty is back and full of new ideas and cant wait to get back to flaunting all my beautiful wears at the fayres.

The first one of 2011 is the fabulous Granny Would be Proud this Sunday (the 26th of January). I cant wait to get right back in there with Fred and the gang becuase this Granny knows how to party!! Make your way to the Hillhead Bookclub just off Byres Road from 12pm onwards where you will see Betty in all her glory sipping on her ‘must have’ gramophone cocktail!!!

Betty has some absolute beezers for you to look at, since the wee sabbatical I have been picking up wee treasures from all over, including some of the much loved designer goods from all decades!

Granny Would be Proud is not just a day for picking up vintage and hand made goodies, its about meeting some cracking folk too! I cant wait to see one of Betty’s besties – Iona – the creator of i heart… she creates recycled thingamabobs, bitamajigs and doodas including bow rings, owlet families, cross stitch cards and my personal favourite – the moustache badges:

So get yer leftover pennies from that Christmas card oot and come round this Sunday! Hope you all had a lovely 2010 and are prepared to get Swollock’d in 2011. Right, dinner time, off to Lupe Pintos for the best chorizo in town. See you Sunday!

Forever yours,
