On Wednesday myself and my girls went for a screening of Mean Girls to celebrate it’s 10 year anniversary. There was only one rule for the screening: wear pink, or you can’t sit with us. Who was I to let down a dress code?!

I know a lot of people are into Colourists and if it helps you and your wardrobe then that’s something I am all for, personally it is not something I believe in. I was told to keep wearing orange and green but stay far away from pastels, especially pink. I worked for years in retail hearing horror stories of woman getting rid of half their wardrobe when items didn’t match their pre approved colour swatches. I am a firm believer in wearing whatever you want as long as you feel good in it. I love a colour clash and although pink and orange are not traditionally paired, why does that mean that they shouldn’t?

I loved my H2T three shades of pink look, no matter what a colourist says! I don’t think I am prepared to sacrifise any colour from my wardrobe, especially not pink or pastels. Would you ban a colour from your closet?
