For a fashion lover during LFW it’s impossible to scroll through your social media without seeing handfuls of pictures tagged with @theaptmnt. From OOTD’s to flat lays, hair and face makeovers and #squadgoals as we see bloggers unite, it is the perfect place to work / chill / eat during what is an extremely busy (yet exciting) time for fbloggers. This year, my time with Girl Boss Abi and team was short but oh so sweet, and boy was there sweets…

Each season, The Apartment finds the perfect location to decorate into a Pinterest dream before inviting bloggers from far and wide to meet brands, talk fashion shows, blog, network, chill or get ready before the next show. It’s one of my personal highlights of LFW, especially as it’s usually the place I catch up with some familiar faces. It’s always been a pleasure to go and hang out but this season they took things to a new level by organising their own LFW events, from talks with Alice Temperly to afternoon teas with Caravelle. This was especially welcomed since London seems to take a step back from the blogging community, making it harder to get tickets unless you are traditional print press. It’s upsetting that a lot of the larger corporate PR’s aren’t accepting new media as, you know, a thing, so it was a very welcomed addition to the itinerary. Designers want people to see their exhibition / show so why not get it out there in the way that most are finding out about new design, through social media. I couldn’t make it to the events, but by the power of Periscope, it felt like i was in the room with them.

Another exciting addition to this seasons bad ass line up was their collaboration with exciting new shopping app Comb. It basically takes the hard work of finding things you love by searching thousands of brands just through a photo. Smart, huh? Myself and Amanda got ourselves made over by the beauty team from Mark Hill and beauty direct to you app, Priv, before strutting our stuff along the Soho streets with their photographer. I went for a Barbarella theme with big wavy locks and power cat eye flicks to match my 60’s biker girl in space vibe.

The Hayley Scanlan biker mini and PVC bomber were a match made in heaven with my Wolford polka tights and Colorado String Body. I cannot tell you how versatile this bodysuit is. Comfortable, warm, luxurious, sexy, it’s pretty much the ultimate basic that everyone should have in their wardrobes. I’m now after it in white…

As always when I wear black, I like to counteract it with something that feels a bit more natural to me, orange. I’ve been representing my collab with Sara Sboul all fashion week and the little bitch bag is my favourite from the collection. It’s a lot more versatile than it looks! Fitting my phone, charger, lipstick, purse, keys and compact in it perfectly, it may be the cutest accessory I own.

Next season I am hoping to maybe get myself to Milan or Paris Fashion Weeks. I hear there i a completely different vibe there so I was delighted to see that The Apartment is expanding. Milan has had it’s strongest year this year so to head there and check out some new gen would be a dream. From hairstylists to makeup artists, chauffeur driven cars and a constant flow of food and water, The Apartment is every bloggers lifesaver. I just wish it was there all year round! Check out mine and Honey Pop’s highlights in the video below.

Thanks to Abi and the team for the invite and to Comb, Mark Hill and Priv for the juuj and photo shoot.

forever yours betty
