We all love a sample sale. Elbows are out, eyes are peeled, and purses are clutched to fight for the best bargains! This Saturday the 5th of October, Ultimo and itison are bringing the End of Season Sample Sale to the beautiful Sloan’s Ballroom in Glasgow City Centre, and the best part? It will not be your usual free for all….
Sample sales are notorious in the fashion world as a place where enemies are created; walking in, eyeing up your competition and strategizing the best route for that balconette bra you NEED in your life. Ultimo have got everything figured out to make sure that all is fair in love and war by using specific shopping sections throughout the day! On arrival, you’ll find lingerie for every occasion and intention – from fashion-forward, soft bondage-inspired designs through to ethereal bridal sets and sculpting shapewear! Sizes will range from 8-18 for bottoms and 30-38 A-G for bras, there will be no changing areas so ladies know your sizes as items are sold as seen. As I was saying, the ladies at Ultimo have worked with itison in creating a sample sale like no other – where everyone has fair chance of getting what they want. After each scheduled time slot, all stock will be divided and replenished. They have also have created four stations with different degrees of discount depending on your budget. Stress free shopping at a sample sale? It simply cant be true! Make sure you register for your free ticket here at a time that suits you.
After all the shopping and money saving shinanigans, take a short stroll to the iconic Barras for the second coming of Kiltr’s Feastival for good scran, amazing tunes and some lovely tipples from local restaurants and bars from around the city. I was at the first one a few months back and stuffed my face with food from every continent. A delightful way to spend a day/ afternoon / evening.
The Feastival Pop Up is on from Friday the 4th until Sunday 6th of October so plenty of time to haul ass down to the BAAD Centre for some local culinary delights! Its completely free entry to all Kiltr members so make sure you sign up and put that extra £2 saving in your feedin’ kitty. Mind and geez a wave if you see me! You’ll find me in the queue. All of them that is….
