When it comes to celebrating the talent and creativity that lives on our doorstep, it would be hard to find someone more enthusiastic than yours truly. Forever waving that #shoplocal hashtag, it is time that we celebrate more than just design. This is about celebrating the people who help move and shake the industry, this is the Herald Fashion Awards and I am delighted to announce that I will be on the judging panel.

The heraldfashion.co.uk Awards will celebrate Scotland’s most creative and innovative within the digital fashion industry. There are 11 categories including Best Scottish independent online retailer, Blogger of the year for Scotland (Sponsored by Debenhams) and  Best fashion twitterati (Sponsored by SCOTLANDRE:DESIGNED) to name a few. All entries are absolutely FREE to enter, and you can enter as many different categories as you so wish! So no matter how big, small or inbetween you are, if you’re local we want to hear all about it! Here are just some of my favourite local loves, I expect you all to be applying!

I will be working alongside other judges (big hiyas to my pannel pals Chris Hunt, Stew BrydenEunice Olumide and Marion White) in making sure the people who bust their asses in this industry are recognised for all their hard work and dedication. Entries are open for just another TWO DAYS so I strongly suggest you get your application in ASAP. The nominees will be announced just a few weeks after closing with the ceremony taking place in Glasgow’s Arta in November. So what are you waiting for?! Get applying!  #HeraldFashion

forever yours betty
