For a while I’ve been feeling in a bit of a fashion rut. When I arrived at fashion week, I absolutely loved people watching and keeping my eyes peeled for some style inspiration. One thing I really noticed is that Londoners are so polished looking, something which I have never been able to really master! Since coming home I can already feel myself put together outfits differently, hello fashion mojo, it’s nice to see you again!

On Wednesday night, I went to the Arran Aromatics Feel Good Event with my girls Bee and Honey Pop. We were taken through their Feel Good range while being filled with fizz, marshmallows and macaroons – the perfect Wednesday in other words! I was completely sold with there Tea Eye Cream, pop it in the fridge for some much needed bag lifting after a big night out or just a long week. I’m trying it out all this week so will keep you updated on the heavy lifting!

The very next day, it was off to the Opening Gala for the Glasgow Film Festival at the GFT. My girl Bee used to run the Fashion Strand which unfortunately this year isn’t running, but there are HUNNURS of great films coming up within the 10th year celebrations of the GFF (see full list here). Since they were screening the UK première of Wes Anderson’s Grand Budapest Hotel, I thought I would channel my own Wes Anderson character, with bright colours and bold prints AKA Fantastic Mr Fox.

I also couldn’t quite help myself when I tried on these incredible Prada Baroque Cat Eyes from of course Pretavoir.co.uk. They’re prices are just so reasonable and I really want to start mixing and matching my specks with my outfits. A few more days to order in my frames and these bad boys will be MINE! Long may my outfit mojo continue, have you ever felt in a fashion rut?

  1. Gorgeous outfits! I was at the Arran Aromatics event as well and seeing you, Bee and all the other bloggers looking so lovely gave me the kick up the bum I’ve been needing to get out of my boring leggings and all black fashion rut, so thank you aha! xx
