I cannot believe that I only have 10 days left of my challenge! I would love to say that this has been an enjoyable experience which has came very easy to me – but I’d be lying. Never have a pair a denims reached out to me within a dream. Move over Levi man – you are no longer required!

So where did we last leave off? Oh thats right – Valentines Day. This year I celebrated with the wife and our non conforming Married bestie Mhairi. What more do you want on Valentines but a right good cluck with some of the best burds this side of the Clyde – and curry…

day 14

DAY 14:  Valentines Cluck

Dress H&M | Emerald Top Zara (sale £17) Belt Primark | Shoes Office

Day 15 was due to be a belter. Not only till it come fully equipped with that special Friday feeling it also was a double outfit day! After work, it was time to scoot off home to the wife where she had a bottle of ‘Glens’ chilling in the freezer. Nothing but class here ladies and gents…

Day 15

DAY 15: Leopard Print Fridays

Dress H&M | Top ASOS (sale £7) | Necklace H&M | Shoes Office (sale £30)

These leopard boots were an absolute steal at half price, I got them last season too but in a black suade and leopard pony skin heel. Comfiest shoes ever.

After guzzling our pre night out drinks in Swollock mansions we headed out to the Buff club (or their new bar bit?) for a dance to celebrate oor Anna’s birthday. If I’d known it would be a disco night I would have donned completely different attire but alas this pencil skirt has been one of my all-time favourite finds.

Day 15 2

DAY 15 (outfit 2) Anna’s Birthday Boogie

Dress H&M | Skirt Vintage Dorothy Perkins | Shoes Zara | Belt Primark

Whether this is true or not isnt important, but i like to believe that this vintage DP skirt was taken from one of the original Biba designs. When Biba closed its doors in 1974, big Dorothy took all them stunning Biba shapes and papped the DP tag ontop. I’d like to think with the Mulberry hue and sexy split that I made quite the find in good ol’ Sally army!

The next day brought a hangover that only drinking cheap vodka could ensure. It was safe to say that it wasn’t going to be a productive day. To cheer myself up I went to go spend the day having a chuckle with my brother, comfort was key and I thought I would rock a look I haven’t donned in years – the short skirt.

Day 16

DAY 16: Lazy Saturday with Brother Chuckles

Dress H&M | Wooly THICK tights H&M | Suger Plum Jumper Vintage | Boots Vintage Amsterdam

I have had an issue with my legs and knees from as long as I can remember. A lovely  day would be ruined in minutes as soon as trousers or boots were put on the shopping list. When the midi was launched onto the high street a few years ago – it was my saving grace. Never would my knees see the light of day again and if they did – they would be masked by a good 40+ denier.

Day 17

DAY 17: Lunch with Daddio and Blether with Maw

Dress H&M | Shirt (from DAY 1) Primark | Leather Jacket H&M | Wool Tights H&M |Boots H&M | Bag Urban Outfitters

Determined to give the short length a proper go I gave it another try when meeting my Dad for a lovely Sunday lunch at St Louis cafe on Dumbarton Road. I really love it there, the staff are so friendly and helpful and my eggs benedict were scrumdidely-umptious!  I then took a wee jaunt up to Mumma Swollocks for a much needed catch up, walking about in public with full stems on show made me feel really uneasy but knowing i had the protection of the woolly tights masking the old man knees I was somewhat comfortable….kinda…

knees

Prime examples of Old Man knees – I’m a dead ringer for #1

Today was a happy day – the knees were back in hibernation AND It was the second day in a row that Glasgow had hit an almost parkworthy 6 degrees. It was time to celebrate and bring out an outfit I’d been waiting to wear all month. My favourite colour combo – Yellow Blue and Red

DAY 18

DAY 18: Rid, Yella and Blue

Dress H&M | Top Karen Millen (sale last year) | Blue Office Shoes (sale £20)

This Acidic Yellow Karen Millen top doesnt owe me a penny. I had my eye on it from the get go back in HOF and kept my beady wee squinteye on the pricetag. I loved it so much i may have purchased in black as well…costperwear n’that..

As from last post I made my second target of £400 (YALDI!) and now have upped the target to £500. Thank you for everyone who has taken the time to donate. I know everyone is fundraising and skint at the moment but being more than half way through the challenge I am so touched by everyone who has put their hands in their pockets to hlep raise for SANE.
