Sometimes I really wonder what subliminal shopping surrounds me. It’s like, one minute I was walking around minding my own business when suddenly, the fashion God’s tell me that I not only wanted, but NEEDED something Khaki in my life.  I really didn’t care what shade of sludge we were talking,  from the greyish-green , olive-green, pine green, they  all seemed so appealing! But I found my khaki match in this easy to wear throw on jacket from Coco & Cleo.

IMG_4161When looking for something new, the main requirement for me is fitting it into my everyday wardrobe.  This jacket was the perfect mix of military meets casual cool, you can wear it zipped up, drawn in, buttoned up or loose over a tee. I decided to do just that and matched it with a pair of dark denims for it’s first outing. In keeping with this seasons trend, I kept it tonal by matching it up with my go to Burberry trench, orange tee and Zara loafer trainers.

Khaki is always a colour that keeps springing back most seasons so if you see something you absolutely love, it is probably worth investing. One of the best things too is the hue suits everybody. No actually, everybody. It is just a matter of finding the tone you like best for your skin tone. What’s more is that it goes with everything! I am already picturing dressing this bad boy up with a slinky silver silk dress I picked up when Zara went to 70%. Don’t judge me shopping ban! Will you be wearing khaki this season?
