I never really need an excuse to pop a bottle of bubbly, but if I was ever looking for one, it would have to be a Mo\u00ebt Party with friends the weekend\u00a0before my Birthday!\u00a0\u00a0Acting as the delicious bubbley’s first nationwide celebration, last Saturday\u00a0saw\u00a0Mo\u00ebt & Chandon explode onto the streets of Glasgow for a one day spectacular. I was ready to get my day drinking and dancing on and it definitely didn’t disappoint!<\/h2>\n

Taking place throughout the UK last weekend, Mo\u00ebt wanted to encourage the nation to live in the now by marking the anniversary of the first ever champagne spray moment. Yup, you know that shake shake shake, spray? Back in\u00a01967, racing driver Dan Gurney\u00a0unexpectedly showered the crowd when he popped open a Jeroboam bottle of Mo\u00ebt & Chandon uponhis triumph at the 24-hour Le Mans race in France. And just like that, a joyous new tradition was born. Loves a factoid, am I right?<\/p>\n

Now, almost\u00a050 years on,\u00a0Mo\u00ebt decided to create with a global party with Glasgow being the host for Scotland, natch! So with my Mo\u00ebt Ice in toe, I grabbed some pals and headed to\u00a0Ashton Lane to live in the now with my coordinated two piece from Lady K Loves<\/a> and beaded handbag from Play Purse.<\/a>\u00a0I definitely think there is some sort of rivera theme going on with my wardrobe at the moment but it definitely went perfectly with the White Isle feels!<\/p>\n
