It ain’t all about the fashion dahlings! Myself and Bee are mega into our grub so we were delighted to be invited to\u00a0Italian celebrity chef, Fabio Campoli’s first English Book launch in aid of Cash for Kids last week.\u00a0We were driven to the stunning location of Archerfield\u00a0House, North Berwick (outside Edinburgh) at an exclusive Italian-themed event hosted by Tony Macaroni<\/a> and they made sure it was certainly a night to remember!\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

We were completely overwhelmed by the beauty that is Archerfeild House. As we drove up we were greeted by a plethora of Ferraris, flowing Prosecco and\u00a0\u00a0pianist playing renditions of ‘All about the Bass’ before being shown into the dining room of dreams to try Fabio’s favourite meals from the\u00a0book 100 recipes. Fabio joined Tony Macaroni in October this year where he\u00a0is working with the restaurant group to bring a truly authentic taste of Italy to Scotland, which I can certainly say judging by the food we ate, he has accomplished!\u00a0\u00a0The proceeds of the first 5,000 copies of the \u00a0book sold, (around the \u00a350K mark) \u00a0are generously being donated to the 2014 Cash for Kids appeal. It was lovely to hear that the biggest Scottish Italian chain, Toni Macaroni, is doing their part to support such a special Charity which help hundreds of Scottish kids and families throughout the year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After eating (litterally ALL THE FOOD) we were shown upstairs for\u00a0an exclusive preview of Italian clothing brand Aeronautica\u00a0Militare. They have a large collection of Aviator themed fashions, it kind of reminded me of the Italian Belstaff with the luxe classic shapes and styling. It was great to hear a little bit from Fabio Campoli himself who did an amazing job at reading his speech in English for our benefit. I could never do it the other way round let me tell you!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With regards to dresscode, I decided to do as the Italians do and rock some black for the event. I paired my classic black polo neck with this super cute PVC mini from Primark, my Miista boots and a bit of Bebaroque for good (local) measure! It was a nice and comfy outfit to wear for the eating and travelling but I can’t help but feel a bit strange in black, although did give the huge plus about having a ‘wipe clean’ skirt to avoid any embarrassment! I can be a mucky pup but this way, no one needs to know!\u00a0Shhh…<\/p>\n
