<\/a><\/p>\nInspired by the noted fashion illustrator \u2013 Rene Gruaub whose work was mostly identified with the French Fashion House from 1947. You can definitely see the inspiration within the sculptural, voluminous and razor sharp edges which give a glimpse of the slip underneath. Gruab\u2019s distinctive exaggerated style of design inspired the whole of the fashion industry and will always be remembered for its\u201dtimeless and enduring style\u201d.<\/p>\n

This collection has everything for me; from the beautiful powder and power pallet, to the wasp waists, bare shoulders, belted peplum jackets \u2013 worth a special mention are the textures, volume and depth and of the tulle pieces. As you can tell, Galliano\u2019s shows are definitely the ones I look forward to and cherish.<\/p>\n The pallet was kept simple; powerful blacks, reds, teals and oranges were beautifully complimented by powder shades. This really played up to the retro feel of the collection, each outfit from head to toe shows a confidant, sexual temptress, and she wanted everyone to know about it. These were my favourite looks:<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n The hair and make up was \u2013 as always- stunning. Twists, twirls, eyebrows and lips all topped off with veils and intricate head pieces.
