I manage the Fashion\/Beauty and Retail strand and let me tell you, yer all in for a real treat with what we’ve got coming for you – no matter what your intae!\u00a0My favourite event\u00a0so far? Coming into Fashion: A Century of Photography\u00a0at Cond\u00e9 Nast<\/a>\u00a0at the Edinburgh City Art Centre.<\/a><\/p>\n

These kinds of (fashion)\u00a0opportunities do not come to Scotland often enough so when I heard about Edinburgh’s City Art Centre adding to the exhibition with a whole programme of events, I knew we needed to get involved!<\/p>\n

Launching on the 15th of June and open until 8th of September<\/a>, the exhibition shows early work by such\u00a0photographers as Cecil Beaton, Erwin Blumenfeld, Helmut Newton, David Bailey, Guy Bourdin, Corinne Day, Mario Testino and S\u00f8lve Sundsb\u00f8 as it appeared in the pages of Vogue<\/em>,\u00a0Tatler<\/em> and other Cond\u00e9 Nast publications.<\/p>\n

We all need to give virtual thanks to the exhibition curator Nathalie Herschdorfer, who had unprecedented access to the Cond\u00e9 Nast archives in New York, Paris, London and Milan and hand picked work of over eighty photographers and editors notes from over the past 100 years for the display.<\/p>\n

The exhibition<\/a> isn’t the only thing happnin down at the City Art Centre<\/a>, Public Programme Manager, Margaret Findlay has created a fabulous events programme which will also run from June – September featuring some amazing events from brilliant local talent\u00a0including\u00a0Rebecca Torres<\/a>, JRF Rogue Milliner<\/a>, William Chambers<\/a>, Jaggy Nettle <\/a>and more!<\/p>\n
