Well, nothing says Spring has Sprung like hats, gloves, mits and furrrrrr. Glasgow has officially boycotted warmth as the rest of the world starts debuting slithers of sunshine. I braved the elements for the KAPOW Launch in Mandors<\/a> Thursday night, If there is anything that will get me away from my electric blanket this weather its good cake and pretty fabrics.<\/h2>\n

The fabric is designed by local Glaswegian artist Mr KAPOW <\/a>and features 6 of his original oil paintings. The fabric is so whimsy and has been purchased for bedspreads, canvas bags and curtains and is priced at \u00a320 per metre.<\/p>\n

It was lovely to meet the wonderful staff at Mandors<\/a> who not only kept us all fed and watered (Thanks Admiral Bar!) but also gave an amazing tutorial on how to make a circle skirt, now if I could only get my bloody machine threaded….<\/p>\n

This week, I\u2019ve been testing what is now my favourite item in my makeup bag – Beautiful Brows.<\/a>\"beautiful-brows-eyebrow-kit\"<\/a>At last we can all have beautiful eyebrows in a blink of an eye – or to be more exact, the sweep of a brush! As a girl who wears glasses, I struggle when matching up cat eye flicks and eye brows. Before I know it I end up with Beauty and the Slug after 15 minutes of squinting, but not\u00a0any longer now I have this bad boy!\"1\"<\/a>\"2\"<\/a><\/p>\n

All your eyebrow essentials presented in an lovely wee compact to keep everything together. Within it you get a magnified mirror (essential for me!), Brow Powder, three shapes of eyebrow stencil, highlighter, highlighter brush, soft grip tweezers and duo applicator brush all for \u00a335 from Beautiful Brow<\/a> Concessions in\u00a0Buchanan Galleries or St Enoch concessions! What’s even better is that after a whole day of running around meetings, walking home in the sleet and sweating in the office my brows have stayed put. I’m an official convert so brow lovers go\u00a0jump into one of their concessions for a free trial and prepare to be wowed!<\/p>\n

This week is a busy one, tonight I am going to see the gorgeous Julia Sutherland <\/a>do her thing for the Glasgow Comedy Festival in Ibrox Library with Da and brother Swollock, then shooting off to The Arches for the big launch of Made in Glasgow<\/a>!<\/p>\n

I’ve been looking forward to this for ages! I’ll save all my ramblings for after the launch but if you don’t have plans for tonight, waltz right down to The Arches\u00a0from 7pm and be impressed by the sheer amount of pure quality people we have in Glasgow. They’re so magic they’re even giving away one of these bags to the early birds! Betty has dibs….<\/p>\n
