After leaving the Pam Hogg show on a complete high, myself and Bee were too knackered to move on to the after party (I know, not as hardcore as we thought!) so after eating a big plate of beef from Great Queen Street restaurant, we went home for an early night to dry off our soaking wet furs for Day 2 of the AW14 celebrations.
When I was arranging outfits for the trip, there was a piece of clothing I was just dying to take with me since wearing on the 2014: What will you be wearing? Film by Niall Webster of course I am talking about the Atomic Print Sweater Dress by Scottish Fashion Award winner Hayley Scanlan.
Glasses by Miu Miu from Pretavoir
Dress (as before) by Hayley Scanlan
Boots ‘Fly Girl’ by Schuh
Fur from Paris Collection by H&M
Bag by Chanel
It seemed like I wasn’t the only one who was swooning all over the gorgeous textured number as it proved very popular with the many Street Style photographers around Somerset House!
After a wonder round the many exhibitors picked by the British Fashion Council, the first stop had to be the Hedonism collections which included our very own William Chambers Millinery.
Myself and Bee spent a good hour of so trying on all of his delicious headwear, including his wonderful collaberation collections with Georgia Wiseman! As I had a wee roll in my hair, there were some limits as to what I could try on, but being a vintage lover at heart I completely fell for this white birdcage hat with little pearly beaded detail, SWOON!
There were too many designers to mention which I completely fell for on the day (I’ll leave for future postage!) but I can tell you this, the amount of talent in this country never fails to astound me!
After a few hours of wandering and drooling we headed back to the Freemasons Hall to watch a show which myself and Bee were super excited about – Belle Sauvage. I really want to tell you all about it and ill do a proper review real soon but will leave you with this little snippet of beauty before my head firmly hits the pillow…
What has been yoyr favourite shoe from LFW this year?
Loving the hat – so jealous of you girls!
Oh my goodness there were so many hats to die for! I have never been a huge hat wearer but I think this trip has changed my outlook! X
Oh you really should have bought that hat. It’s gorgeous! & you’re dress is fab, love it!
Believe me I will have a William Chambers hat in my life, one sweet day! Thank you so much! ❤️
