Christmas is just 2 shopping days away, so when time is of the essence and no click to buy can help you, it’s only the high streetthat will do. It’s a horrible place this time of year. Panicked herds of people fighting through the crowds in the hopes to magically come across the perfect present, cue blood, sweat and tears. The only way to really make it through shopping in the last run up to Christmas is some pre panic station planning. So if you’ve left your Christmas shopping to the last minute AGAIN, don’t worry – I’ve put together easy to find gifts in 5 well known high street shops that will make cutting it fine a walk in the park.
1. Lush
Now I could have made this the ten Lush gifts to give but when the pressure sets in you just need the facts. Of course there are the obvious bombs and masks but there is literally something for everybody in this magical store. If your boo has a sweet tooth, look no farther than a snow fairy set. Always hear complaints about her hair? Show you listen with a ‘No Drought’ dry shampoo and R&B hair conditioner. Feeling the winter skin? Sounds like a job for Skin Drink and Dream Cream moisturiser. I use all of the above and believe me they are all game changers.
2. John Lewis
Did someone say Corgetti?! Everyone loves a kitchen hack and this will change the way you look at your veg. Very soon into 2016 you won’t accept anything that’s not spiralised. If spirals aren’t your bag then try a Nespresso instead.
3. TK MAXX
The holy grail of Christmas shopping, TK Maxx is the perfect place for stocking fillers to the main event. My favourite place to start is the homeware. Here you can find something for everyone, from luxury candles to weird and wonderful sauces and salts. Be sure to check out their beauty and fragrance section, rumer has it they had some Penhalligans scents for a third of the retail price!
4. JD Sports
2015 was definitely the year of fitness came into fashion, from yoga mats to bike helmets to a new pair of Stan Smiths there seems to be something for most.
5. Zara
When all else fails, just buy her Zara.
Good luck you crazy shoppers, have a very Merry Christmas!
