OK, I get it! Buchanan Street is all lit up, everyone’s Starbucks has turned red and the John Lewis ad is on repeat sending tears down everyone cheeks – apart from mine. I think we have all established that I am a Grinch when it comes to Christmas so when Honey Pop asked me to join her in a photo shoot, in a grotto, wearing a festive jumper, It’s safe to say I thought she was taking the piss! Then I realised that wasn’t the case…
We all know the drill. Come December, it is perfectly acceptable hell expected to wear a Christmas Jumper. But if like me, you LOVE hilarious jumpers yet sporting a Christmas themed one scares the jeebus out of you, we look to the high street for some cute styles that scream less SANTA and more WINTERY GOODNESS. Thank goodness we found the perfect mix to suit both Elf Enthusiasts and Grinch’s in these super cute Snow and Snowman knits from Matalan.

I had to admit, it was really fun to play with all the fake snow in St Enoch Centre’s Grotto, but don’t let that smile fool you! I have decided to remove the word Christmas from my vocabulary and exchange it for a word I do like, Winter. I’m happy to celebrate winter, working in retail never ruined that and I can still drink in the morning, eat all the food and open presents during Winter Celebrations! I know it’s pretty mean and a bit twisted but I also enjoy slowly crushing Bee’s festive cheer everytime I say it. HAPPY WINTER BEE! LOVE YOU!
Destroying Christmas Cheer wherever I go…
I think this proves that you don’t need to like Christmas to enjoy a Winter themed jumper. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
