When an invitation comes through from Moet, you know it is going to be a fancy affair but when the dress code states ‘White Party,’ it puts the fear into every pale person who reads it. I am a colour worshipper and even though I have been sporting all things white recently (namely shoes and nails) an all white outfit is something I would usually steer clear of, until now that is…

Well OK I cheated a bit, the invite did say all white but who was I kidding?!  I would never wear a full outfit with NO COLOUR so lets just work with mostly white… I ended up going for this really easy to wear MissGuided dress with a cute cut out in the waist. I loved that the midi was tight all the way down so you could complete the look with a wiggle walk!

I added the pop of colour with my bargain River Island stilettos and yellow vintage necklace but felt like the look was a little ‘grown up’ for my liking. I love to have fun with my clothes and an all white midi dress and some heels didn’t get me jumping with excitement so I added one of my favourite handbags, Mr Jarvis Cockerel. Who says Chicken’s shouldn’t join the party?!

I loved walking into a party where everyone was in one colour but looked so different at the same time. It was the best night for people watching with my favourite ladies. I must say too, the new Moet over ice went down a treat too! What would you wear to an all white party?

forever yours betty
