It is not everyday that you get asked to join a line up of industry insiders for one of your favourite high street brands, so when Topshop got in touch and asked me to join their exclusive panel for the closing of the Edinburgh International Fashion Festival, I was on it quicker than I could apply my Rio Rio lipstick!

Topshop-2014-Campaign-02

On Tuesday 22nd of July I will be making my way to the Edinburgh Flagship Princes Street store to join a bunch of fashion experts and fellow bloggers for a right good blether on what’s happening in the industry and I would love if you all could come! This exclusive after hours event will not only give you the opportunity to get to know some local bloggers but also get under the skin of our favourite high street legend that is Topshop.  From fashion philosophy, catwalk trends to styling solutions, we have it all covered (including a wee fizz on arrival!) Grab yourself a FREE ticket exclusively with itison for a fashionable night to remember, tickets are going super quick though so if you are not fast you’re last!

To celebrate my involvement in the event I decided to pull together some of my favourite must have items from Topshop in an H2T outfit. I mean, usually I am totally against wearing one brand all over, but when it comes to Topshop there is always room for an exception!

Headband, Top, Jeans – Topshop, Belt – Vintage, Sandels – Clarks, Ring – Bonnie Bling

Being one of the clumsiest girls I know (well maybe apart from my beloved Bee) I thought I should always steer clear of white, but it seems like I have started some sort of obsession with the shade. From shoes, jeans, tees to dresses, it does seem like everything is going to be all white in my wardrobe (sorry I couldn’t help it). I bought these soft stretch jeans a few months back and was slightly dubious as they were my first ‘mid rise’  purchase since I made my denims a ‘high waist only’ zone a few years back. I paired them with one of Topshop’s simple staple cami vests which every girl should definitely consider for a fail safe option for both day and night. I accessorised with one of their big bow headbands which I picked up at the start of the season to help with those dare I say, sweaty root days. If you don’t have one of these, invest in one. They are cheep as chips and will rescue your hair from the constant touching and greasing up that this lovely weather brings. No look can ever really be completed though without my favourite custom Betty ring from Bonnie Bling. She has been almost a permanent fixture on my hand since we met and rounded up the colours in the outfit perfectly.

Rumour has it there will be an exclusive A/W preview on the night as well as competitions to enter on the night! What are you waiting for? Get your free ticket here now! Let’s pick our Topshop A/W14 staples together.
