To those in the know, bargain shopping is a sport. In fact, in some cases it’s a head-to-head battle and even a test of friendship, endurance and will power. Despite all the brutal conditions on the field (lack of organisation, lack of time, lack of budget, to name a few), I have the perfect solution for those in search of a high quality, low priced bargain. Ladies, I’m talking the first ever Scottish blogger Shop, coming to the Hillhead Bookclub on the 21st of August.

ScottishBloggerShop-1

Curated by 9 of Scotland’s top bloggers, The Scottish Blogger Shop is sure to give any shopper a leg up on the competition that is bargainhood. With specially curated stalls edited by each bloggers personal style, it really couldn’t be easier to find amazing pieces at affordable prices. Having made the rounds of used-clothing racks once or twice myself, I know what’s needed when preparing a shoppable stall of desirables. With bargain buckets at 2 for £5 to my rails of high street, indie, designer and vintage from £5 – £35, let’s just say, Mumma wants RID! Here’s just SOME of the goodies I’ll be selling on the day, shopping will commence at 11 and close at 5pm and EVERYTHING MUST GO! Well, if not its headed to DEPOP! With all the other bloggers involved, I just hope that I don’t come home with more than I brought!

So if shopping the styles of Honeypop Kisses, Bee Waits, Little Blog of Horrors, Thank Fifi, Miss West End Girl, Florals and Corals, Kingdom of Style and LAFOTKA isn’t enough to drag you to the Hillhead Bookclub a week on Sunday, maybe the extra special stalls will! We’ve got a sparkly triple threat in the form of Sara Hill Make Up, Hair Dazzles by KK and Ms Swoon Nails herself, basically, painting the West End of Glasgow in glitter, Posies and Pots will also be there selling her beautiful blooms and Looklook Photobooth capturing it all. We will also have a wee donation station for a charity close to our hearts, Give a Dog a Bone, that plays matchmaker with shelter dogs and the elderly. Yup, it’s exactly as precious as it sounds.

So what do you say? Wanna shop our wardrobes? Join our Facebook page and share with your friends! We’ll see you a week on Sunday at the Hillhead Bookclub. I’ll be the one hiding behind my multitude of rails drinking strawberry mojitos from a gramophone.

forever yours betty
