I’ve already talked about how hard I find it to shop for the men in my life. They are the type of guys who wouldn’t appreciate anything practical and wouldn’t think twice about giving you snide eye for getting them something well, pish. It is REALLY important to me to support independent retailers all year round so when it comes to Christmas, you know I’ll be shopping local! So here’s my Grinchy guide to shopping for guys this Christmas…

As a rule of thumb, The Brotique generally have your mens shopping down. After moving to their new store at 39 Queen Street, Edinburgh last week, you could spend a full day browsing through the various independent products they provide a very comfortable home for. If you can’t make it through to the capital for some shopping, have a browse to see what their online store can bring! There’s gift ideas you would never have thought of on your own, like this amazing Tattoo balm from Derm-Ink (£14) or if you’re going all out, their Christmas Man Hamper! (£150)
