The past week has been a crazy one. MTV set up camp in Glasgow for the 2014 EMA’s bringing their own Music Week with them including Calvin Harris Taxi’s, Labyrinth projections and oh, SLASH CAME TO TOWN!

Myself and my Bee had the once in a lifetime opportunity to watch the living legend that is Slash during the rehearsal for his gig with local faves Biffy Clyro. It was incredible to watch him and his lightning hands perform, wearing laid back joggers, ripped tee and token hat, he was everything I thought the rocker would be and more…dem arms really were something! He was surprisingly shy as he spoke of his love for Glasgow and the generosity and welcoming nature he finds with every visit here. I know every artist must say that the particular town they’re in is the best, but something always makes me feel they are telling the truth about the Glasgow crowd. Even at 3pm there was a massive que of fans waiting in the freezing cold for a second a Slash. Home sweet home.

Hat – Primark | Coat, Shirt, Bag – Missguided | Shoes – Zara | Leather Trousers – Maniere de Voir

It’s not every day that you meet a music legend, so I thought I would channel my inner Rock God the only way I can- through leather.  I wore these great three zip leathers restyled with my Missguided Shirt, Coat and Bag. I know I shopped well when three pieces from my  Missguided Guide to Glasgow look  work flawlessly into my wardrobe. It’s all about cost per wear in my book. Speaking of which, this hat? Hell, I think I owe it money the amount of times I’ve worn it this weather but come on, it’s Slash, how could I not?!  What’s been your best ‘cost per wear’ buy this A/W?

forever yours betty
