The streets of Glasgow have not been quite the same since Abandon Ship Apparel launched in 2011. Since the two best pals started the company (drunk) slowly but surely you saw a progression of man, a man who could dress well. There are so many streetwear brands out there who yea make a fine tee shirt, but I feel Abandon Ship not only have incredibly fun prints and amazing quality, but they also encourage men to step out their comfort zone, whether it be with an extended tee or a pair of snake print jogging bottoms. Whatever floats your boat, you gotta give credit for putting a hault to the check shirt and jeans uniform that was going on.  I can now however say that ASA have it all, now they have the GIRLS COLLECTION!

I have been so excited for the first full Abandon Ship Girls collection to finally hit my body. From Watermelons and flash tattoos to their staple mandala and tartan prints, the new girls collection is the perfect epitome of the fun loving, confident girl who quite frankly doesn’t give a fuck.

Shot in one of my favourite local stores Lupe Pintos and the oh so fabulous Chicken Cottage, the look book starring Charlotte De Carle is so sweet it is giving me  tooth ache! I mean if fast food is good enough for Moschino…

Abandon Ship have dabbled in womanswear in the past releasing bodysuits and crop tees in their key prints each season. I was lucky enough to have been one of the three ladies in the whole world to receive this amazing moth bodysuit from my girl Honey Pop for my birthday. It looks amazing with pretty much anything but with Glasgow gifting us with so much sunshine, I thought i would wear it out back for a lunchtime sunbathe break, the perfect outdoor alternative to a swimsuit!

Ladies of Glasgow need to hod the bus until next Tuesday the 8th in which there will be a full swing London No.3 Gin and Good Luck Kid Doughnuts party in their Princes square store from 5pm, served by the lovely Glasgow Gin Club. There will be some out of this world (limited) goodybags up for grabs, not to mention hair stencils from up and coming salon #BLOW and Temporary Tattoos and Decals by our girl Tammy DIY Nails!
