First off let me apologise about how long it has taken me to get to day 4. Coming home has been a whirlwind of meetings, scheduling and work, work, working so it is nice to reminisce on eh…last week!

It was a total ‘top knot kinda day’ as we tuned in our City Mappers for a fun day of talking BAGS! First stop was breakfast with Radley as we made our way to one of London’s top breakfast hotspots for a blether.

A giggle, gossip and a large portion of eggs benedict later, we gots to talking about how far Radley has come from the bag everyone, especially their Granny has. We talked designers and the fact that Radley have went back to their roots, bringing back the original designer  for their S/S14 collection. I love all the peachy and lemon hues with classic shapes, although I am holding my breath for A/W14 as rumour has it their is a new designer collab in the works. My heart still pounds over the Holly Fulton Collection (hiya half moon and Scotty Dog clutch…)

Next it was off to Kensington to hit up Mulberry HQ for an up close and personal peek at the new Spring/Summer and Cara collections. I’m a sucker for a Mulberry and I love how involved Cara seemed to be from the general design to the construction of the bags. There are loads of mini details which represent her love for practical fashion as well as mini representations of her tattoos. My personal fave though was this grey over the shoulder number from their S/S14 collection, that and a pair of laceless brogues with my name all over them.

After some nibbles and A LOT of pawing over accessories later, we made our way back to Somerset House for one last catch up with some of the lovely bloggers we met during the week. After a much needed bite, we headed to the Isabella Blow: Fashion Galore! exhibition for what turned out to be the highlight of the week. Seeing Alexander McQueen’s first ever collection, unfinished hems and all is an experience I will never forget. The emotions we were all feeling just trawling through her things was crazy, but i loved how we all shared that same passion, a connection and a memory that we will all hold onto forever.
