Day 3 was all about shows, shopping and spending time with some friends old and new. We woke up scrambling our clothes into our cases (three between the two of us) and checked out of the really reasonable Holiday Inn to haul ass it to a location so fancy pants for The Pringle of Scotland show.

Savile ClubThe Location

I have never seen such a luxurious and beautiful location completely drenched in sunlight on what was a driech week well, weather wise! The Savile Club on Brook street established in 1868 by a group of the “most distinguished writers and artists of the time” was such a beautiful setting for a heritage brand. Before we knew it, we were seated with some skewers of fruit and pastries awaiting the show. As we waited and looked around the stunning room, all went silent as Massive Attack started to play and the first model walked out.

Pringle have been known for their knitwear their whole fashionable life, but I am glad that they are giving us a collection that we can really sink our teeth into. For me, I loved that most outfits were accented with the most beautiful vivid orange, I had seen a lot of red for AW14 but knowing my organge still is making strong cameos made my day!

After Pringle, myself and Bee took a very well deserved shopping break. A lot of window shopping and a look around Liberty later, of course we found ourselves in Topshop and went straight to the Sale section, with an extra 20% off no less! Not only did Bee land herself a pair of Meadham shoes for over 70% off, I also found some limited Topshop Boutique finds which would really help my -not-built-for-flats outfits which I brought so many of.

After our mini spending spree, we made our way to Debenhams for their London Fashion Week Boutique (#DebsLFWBoutique) which was an absolute Godsend! I didnt realise that you pretty much didn’t eat at fashion week (I should have assumed shouldn’t I?) so when we arrived at the Press Room, the Debs team welcomed us open armed, feeding us full of sandwiches and copious amounts of coffee. They had Urban Decay and Regis Salon standing by to give us a wee spruce before hitting our way back to Somerset House to watch the Vivienne Westwood Show. I completely fell for the Urban Decay Naked Pallet no 3 which really opened and made my eye POP so could help but purchase! ! I was externally greatful for the touch up as that London air had been doing quite a number on my skin not to mention my Barnet!

When we made it back to Somerset House we were so pleased to bump into our beloved Jaime ‘Boy Meets Fashion‘. We first met Jaime at the Scottish Style Awards last year and were so excited to catch up with him again.

We met some fabulous people and fellow bloggers while in London, and I am so excited already for September to see them all again! I love when you meet someone new and you scream things that to many people would sound rediculous, but to them makes perfect sense. We could not find a better bunch of folk to watch the Westwood show with, que the roll call of bloggers shouting “DEM HATS!”, “TIGHTS! CHECK THOSE TRIANLGES” , “THOSE EARRINGS THOUGH” of of course “HEARTS ALL THE HEARTS”, and yes caps are definetely needed as of course we couldn’t contain ourselves!

20140220-090341.jpgAs you can see, it started to get a bit chilly in the air, so we went back to check into our new Hotel – The Guoman Tower Bridge – which as the name would suggest was located at Tower Bridge. What we didn’t realise is that The Guoman pretty much was the Tower Bridge as we rocked up straight underneath it to continue the rest of our London stay with them. The view was simply breathtaking and we couldn’t wait to get tucked up.
