The perfect way to spend a lunch break is wondering around diamonds with friends, bucks fizz and macaroons… Lucky for me, this was Thursday – Dower and Hall A/W Press Day and wow do they have some beauties to behold…

My favourite collection had to be the Chintz. Since my Mum handed down her 1970’s Opal ring to me, I seem to be so drawn to their pretty and mystical ways and these ones were no exception! The designer (Mr Dower)  told us that unlike any of the other collections, the Chintz was inspired by the individual stones themselves. Once he found them he couldn’t see them any other way than using the colour and shape to its full potential and added a silver backing to the rear of each stone. I love that the underlay almost has a lace effect, the big one in the picture is a chunky ring, but I would quite fancy it as a brooch. Dower and Hall can remodel anything the way you like it, jewellers at the heart of it all they want the right gem for the right owner. Check out the full new collection either instore or on the website now.
