It is with great pleasure (and cartwheels) that I announce that I have made my One Month One Dress final TARGET!  With 5 days to spare the £500 threshold was passed around 3pm on Friday after my lovely work posted a blog about my challenge and I was shocked by the kindness of strangers.

There is only 3 more days of the challenge to go so every last penny counts! I’m hoping I break the £600 mark after the help from the lovely people of Glasgow (and beyond!). It has been wonderful to see the support from friends and family to help me raise money for a cause which is really close to me, so when the support comes from a stranger – I almost don’t know what to do with myself!  SANE help not just people who suffer from mental health issues but also their families, if everyone could just share www.justgiving.com/sheri-scott with their friends, families and co-workers one last time –  that final stretch could really make a difference to some people’s lives.

DAY 22: GFF and Some Bonnie Bling

Dress H&M | Lilac Peplum Top H&M | Disco Boots ASOS | OMOD Knuckleduster (available on request) Bonnie Bling

The last few days have been just wonderful. With the sun finally out and pushing away the dark clouds, Glasgow has its Ray Bans on and its taps aff (well…almost). Friday was just a generally good day, first I was suprised with an AAHmazing OMOD knuckleduster from Bonnie Bling in what is now becoming a shared colour combination between myself and Irn Bru. Bonnie’s new collection is absolutely stunning and I am so happy to be one of the lucky ones who own one of her custom bad boys.

After work, me and my new Bonnie Bling celebrated my target making with a trip to see my fellow One Dresser do her thang at the CCA. Claire AKA Bee Waits is the Curator of the Fashion Strand of the Glasgow Film Festival , she was introducing Marie Schuller from showSTUDIO for a presentation on  Fashion Film in the Digital Age. It was amazing to see the progression of fashion film within its short period of existence. Although I left feeling quite confused as to where the boarders are within fashion film, I got the feeling that I wasn’t the only one and was very impressed by Marie’s passion and presence.

DAY 24: Day out West with my Favourite Ladies

Sunday I arranged for a wee play date with two of my favourite people in the world – Laura ‘Paisley’ AKA Mutters from the Gutters and her beautiful baby daughter Bella. We went for a stroll around West, stopping off for some lunch and a gander in Granny Would be Proud. We came across this amazing stand full of the brightest bling you have ever seen, I treated us to some BFF Bling and of course the obligatory Strawberry Gin Mojito…

Baby Swollock having fun with the Eyedresser

Again guys thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this challenge. Remeber you can text your donation to BETY90 plus the amount you wish to sponsor me to 70070. It has been much harder than what I thought and made me question what I buy a bit more –  I can tell you now I won’t be buying a peplum in a very long time…
