Spring in Glasgow is a wonderful time. The locals take full advantage of every dose of sunshine, you never know when it will be the last! As soon as those mornings get lighter, the heavy boots and fur coats get tucked away to make way for something a little lighter and fresher. This season, my must have was a pair of floral trousers.

20120325-220520.jpg As soon as these arrived in my work I was skipping off to the changing room to give these bad boys a whirl. They were perfect, the print is very whimsical and the colours are less garish than some of the others I have seen on the market.I love the high waist and the cropped length, mind you, don’t think I’ve rocked this length since the pedal pusher movement! Come into Biba this Thursday or Friday and you can get a cheeky wee discount courtesy of the House of Fraser Megaday, your purse will thank me… There are a few others which have caught my eye like these vintage Versace jeans from farfetch.com made me squeal with joy! The kittens, the high waist, the black and blue back, the gold, did i mention THE KITTENS!? I long for these jeans… 20120325-220543.jpg These Opening Ceremony numbers take a more dainty approach to the trend. The colour is perfect for the whole season, and would be a classic to bring out for years. Well worth the money, if I had it! 20120325-220535.jpg If your looking to take a more purse friendly approach to floral bottoms, these Topshop tropical trousers maybe just the ticket! 20120325-220550.jpg I am so excited that I have the next week off to soak up all the vitamin d I can muster! I am heading up north to Aviemore – the homeland of Miss Iona Bruce – for a mini holiday and a ‘goodbye for now’ before she heads off for South America. I’ll report back, hopefully sporting a nice freckled glow and some lovely pictures of our last wee adventure. Hope you all enjoy the sunshine folks!

  2. Loving your little floral ensemble. Those Biba trousers have to be Biba’s hero product this season!!!

  3. Can I just say what a comfort to find a person that really knows what they’re discussing on the internet. You certainly realize how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More people really need to look at this and understand this side of your story. I was surprised that you aren’t more
popular because you certainly possess the gift.
